Resolutions!
Do you make any? Mine are generally pretty easy, and hinge on developing better habits.
This year the resolutions I have made are:
Take time to eat breakfast in the morning.
Take vitamins and calcium pills.
Brush and floss 2x daily.
Only go to coffee shops while hanging out with others.
No more Ramen for lunch.
Use this tool (http://sleepyti.me/) to see when I need to go to sleep, and follow it!
Personal goals:
Meet up with a home buyer person to help myself and the husband make some strides to owning our own home.
Have a successful pregnancy (2 failed so far, hoping for a good one..)
What you got? I will check in with you at the end of the year if you post something.. Even if you post in September - promise!!
This is a blog about nothing. This blog is about the trials and tribulations of a sarcastic, married 31 year old girl who is trying to navigating through life. It will have snippets of life be it being a middle child of 3 girls, her new marriage, her family, her cats, work, running (or trying to), or her DIY challenges(and hopefully successes).

Manicure Monday : Christmas Tree
For this week, I decided to try out the Christmas tree thing that I've seen a fair amount on Pintrest.
Mine didn't turn out as cute as some of the others I have seen, but, they are all right.
Just a few more weeks left of this year, and this is probably one of the only New Year's resolutions I have kept.
The other one that I may have kept, is to try a new recipe once a week, which would be 52 recipes..
I will have to go through my phone photos to see if I did it.. I might have though.. :)

Manicure Monday : Teal Sparkle!
Sometimes when my nail polish matches my shirt and even other clothes that no one can see, it really does make me feel like I have my sh*t together. Even if it is for that moment that I realize it.
I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way, right? :)

Manicure Monday- the first of Many!
So I decided I needed to put something up once a week, a theme if you will.
I decided on Manicure Monday, I paint my nails on Sunday night anyways, in preparation of the work week, so by Monday, my nails usually have the extra polish on my flesh washed away. This week because of the holiday, I painted them a little earlier, and then washed them down really well.
So today, in order to show off my new fancy schmancy ring, I chose to go pretty subdued.
I used OPI white and a holographic OPI topcoat for the tips and over the ring finger a few times.
Turns out my hands look really wrinkly. Wonder why. I'm only 31, so they shouldn't look that bad.. maybe I am just being hard on myself. :)
Do you have a New Year's Resolution? Were you able to keep it? We are almost done with this year, my other New Year's Resolutions were to try one new recipe per week on average (doing okay on that one) and to wear earrings everyday (haven't kept that one).
I own well over 200 nail polish colors. Mostly OPI, some Wet N Wild, Orly, you name it, and if it's a readily available brand in the US, I probably own one or two colors from the brand. With the exception of some of the high end brands. I do own a couple of Este Lauder colors, but really, who needs to pay $17 for a bottle of polish? (please note, I paid like $3 a bottle) Not me, but thanks!

This year my New Year's Resolution was to always paint an accent nail. A nail that was different than the others. I chose my ring finger this year for that purpose, and have been able to keep this resolution thus far.
